For Jerry Moran, Putting Kansas First Isn’t Just a Slogan, It’s a Way of Life.
Jerry Moran was born here, lives here, held more town hall meetings last year than any other United States Senator, and makes it a priority to come home nearly every weekend.
This is no accident. Since being elected to Congress, Senator Moran has made it his priority to return home each weekend to visit with the folks who sent him to Washington on their behalf. Whether talking in line at the grocery story, at church, or when filling up the truck with gas, Jerry finds the common-sense input he gets from Kansans informs the decisions he makes in Washington.
Jerry is determined to keep up the good fight to get America back on the right track. He is determined to continue carrying common sense from Kansas to Washington, so our ideas and values will not be ignored in the U.S. Senate.
Jerry listens to you, learns from you, and stays in touch with the families and small business owners who have built Kansas. That effort further strengthens his resolve to fight against bad policies in Washington that threaten the Kansas way of life.
For 12 years, his regular district listening tour took him to 69 counties annually. He has continued the listening tour tradition as a U.S. Senator, now traveling to all 105 counties in our state to hear directly from Kansans. He has held more than 1,100 town hall meetings since being elected to Congress.
